Tehaleh residents Melanie and Wilbur, the majority owners of Post & Pour, saw a need for more community-centered spaces. Their dream was to create a welcoming environment that nurtured social connection within the neighborhood. To bring their vision to life, they partnered with their friend Stu, a seasoned operator of bottle and tap houses in Seattle and Portland. This partnership blended local heart with industry expertise, giving birth to a thoughtfully crafted space rooted in hospitality and community values.

Melanie, Wilbur, and Stu, along with two additional partners from Stu’s existing ventures, formed a dedicated team united by a shared belief: that a well-designed environment can shift neighborhood dynamics. Their goal wasn’t just to add another business to The Post—it was to shape a meaningful gathering place that could evolve into the social heartbeat of Tehaleh.
